Firstly, we recommend that NO ONE PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT. It has changed chefs and owners too many times. We attended on Valentines day and the service was atrocious: we waited a half hour for the appetizer (served without bread and olive oil), waited almost an hour for the main entree (horrible ball of a steak plopped on mashed potatoes - had ordered roast potatoes), no refilling of water glasses, no lighting of table candle, totally inadequate numbers of staff, some patrons left after sitting for excessive periods of time, the 'tira misu dessert' served on the wrong type of plate ... everything was basically tasteless. THIS RESTAURANT HAS LOST ITS CHARM, ITS SKILL, ITS SERVICE ETC. ...it is on the way out friends. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.(food is overpriced ... pun intended. Our Valentines Day was a gastronomic disaster, not to mention that one of us became sick on the way home (the kitchen hygiene/for salads is now in question. When a place goes down the tubes like this place, it really goes belly up. If they are in business 2 or 3 years from now it will be a miracle. The new owner should sell it and move out of Oak Ridges asap. AVOID THIS OREGANO NORTH RESTAURANT LIKE THE PLAGUE ...(believe us, they know it too) As Stan Lee says, "Nuff said" . ..More Reviews
